For decades, a division of ConAgra had operated in Ashland, Ohio in a 165,000 square-foot brick building dating back to 1896. In 2003, when ConAgra sold the division, the building became vacant and of no use to ConAgra. ConAgra put it on the market, where it sat – with operating costs of $250,000 per year.
